I wrote the title of this post as practicing is a huge part of my current daily routine, without knowing what exactly I was going to write. Then I googled the words “deliberate practice” and lo and behold, one of my favorite web sites showed up! Lifehacker is a very cool melting pot of sorts about all kinds of things to know and improve your life. I would highly recommend taking a few moments and peeking around to see, not if, but how many, posts are helpful to you. Here’s another one about “deliberate practice” which includes the “10,000 hours or 10 years” rule. WHAT?! Yes, you read that correctly…
So what does all this mean to me? It means, that although I put in quite a decent week of practice, I see now that I have not been practicing in a deliberate way. Time is a fleeting thing and I need to step things up. Enjoy the last few hours of the weekend and let’s get on it, friends! Whatever your goals, there’s no time like the present! YOU CAN DO IT! Tell me about your goals and dreams, I’d love to hear all about them.
