POP WITH A JAZZY CURVE

> Sunday afternoon!

Sunday was a fantastic day of adultland!  What is adultland, you may ask?  Oh, you don’t have kids, do you?!  Adultland is any time you are out of the house, without a stroller and diapers in hand, dressed in cute clothes and go to a restaurant without a children’s menu!  Many thousand’s of thank yous to my sister, Lori, who watched the baby while Den and I were out! Love you! 🙂

The girls, myself, my husband and one of our dearest and most talented friend (Stu Daylida) went to the Flamingo Library Theatre to watch Tina Walsh and friends perform a show of the hits of Burt Baccarach.  We went not only to meet Tom Gallagher and John Merren, who run the Sunday afternoon events, also know as the Brown Bag theatre, but also to check out the stage and lights, etc, because we are performing there on April 29th!  AAAGH!  This is a real stage,  with a real proscenium and follow spots and everything!
Tina’s show was quite interesting, with my personal favorite moment sung by Kristin Hertzenberg, “Kristine” of “Phantom, the Las Vegas Spectacular” singing “I Say a Little Prayer for You”.  It was truly blissful and may I say-“girl can saaa-iiiing!”  She was quite stunning, and an all around Dangerous Curves’ favorite.  I also want to mention Philip Fortenberry, of the Jersey Boys.  He was the pianist and musical director for Tina.  I must tell you that his skills on the piano are absolutely amazing.  He was given a solo moment in the show that was over far too quickly.  What an amazing talent.
After the show, we went to eat a late lunch at the Bonefish Grill.  Once again, we have picked a yummy dining experience!  They have a gluten free menu for Lisa, a great wine list and the food is absolutely yummy!  We enjoyed appetizers, salads, wine and our main courses ranged from fish to filet.  Our server, Tracie, was adorable and took great care of us!  All in all a fantastic afternoon of songs, learning, friendship and great food.  You know, adultland!
